3/4oz. coated ripstop nylon is light weight and available in a wide range of colors. It is an ideal all around fabric for making single line kites, stunt kites, banners, windsocks, and streamers. Ripstop nylon is available by the yard and comes in either 54” or 60" widths as noted below. Dye lots will vary so order enough to complete your project. Remember that neon colors do not fare well in the sunlight. For added UV protection in the sun, spray fabric lightly with Armor All. It’s the stuff you use on the dashboard of your car.
