Hoop (crush) strength is a critical feature in the durability of Dual Line Sport Kite Frames, so SkyShark uses highly specialized Veilabrium internally, at the foundation, to greatly increase hoop strength of their tapered wrapped carbon tubes. High modulus carbon fibers are employed to greatly improve the stiffness to weight ratio of the wrapped carbon tubes. A proprietary thermo-resin permits the other two elements to perform at their maximum. The combination of these three components allows SkyShark to produce a wrapped carbon tube with the greatest stiffness and durability for it’s weight.

The Sky Shark tapered tube product line includes Sky Burner's brilliant Black Diamond series in 3PT, 5PT & 7PT sizes as well as the larger diameter Nitro Standard and Nitro Strong tapered carbon tubes which are available in the regular sanded finish or a gorgeous clear coat.
