Internal fiberglass ferrules are either solid (IFS) or thick hollow tubes (IFH) and are inserted inside the ends of two tubes to connect them together. Internal ferrules make a smoother connection that does not have the bulk of an external ferrule. They fit those hard to fit tubes where nothing else is available.
